• Q. Would there be a reason why the event is for over 18 years of age?   Basically I am concerned for those young athletes (i.e. 2 young footballers for GBDWF who are under 18 representing GB Squad for the D2009), they cannot join what I feel should be the celebration of deaf sports achievement through the year. (+)
  • A. The awards event is for over 18s of age, the reason for this is because Wembley Grand Hall where our DSPY2010 awards night take place in, got two bars that serves alcohol so no under 18s allowed. But we have 'Young Player of the Year' award for under 18s on our awards category list, therefore Wembley Stadium are allowing us to invite 3 nominated young players on the shortlist with their parents/guardians to attend the awards night.
• Q. I'm with the british deaf tennis team, didnt go to the olympics due to problems, but would like to know if i can get seats with ... if anthony sinclair and cathy graham (up for the award as won gold for mixed doubles tennis) are going then would like seats with the whole deaf tennis squad, who do i ask for that? (+)
  • A. The shortlisted nominees will sit on front row, if you and your sport ie Tennis players wish to sit together in a theatre-style and be near to the nominees, have to arrive in a good time and grab the best seats. First come, first served.
